Mail.ru will be broadcasting live footage of the upcoming space shuttle launch on their new video service.
On 7 April at 21.00 Moscow time a live audience of millions of television viewers and Internet users can watch the launch of the manned spacecraft [Soyuz] from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. “We are happy to give Internet users a unique opportunity to see the spacecraft Soyuz live,” says Anna Artamonova, director of marketing Mail.Ru.
Mail.ru’s video service, similar to Google’s YouTube has been very popular in Russia. This move will only increase the publicity of the service. Social Media Optimizers (SMO) watch with interest.
